"Is it only the Russians that can claim the zephyr that blows brushing the North Siberian terrain caressed by the pines thereon?

Is it only the Brazilians who could call for the water of the river ‘Amazon’ fostered by the ‘Andes vales’ passing down moistening the Amazon shrubs therein ?

Is it only the Africans who should enjoy the grace of the ferocious animals roam around their continent ?

Is it only the Europeans who should live on the green pastures and hilltops of Switzerland plateau?

I myself am a Sri Lankan. Am I the only one to claim this Island which is another paradise of those dolphins and gigantic whales swimming across the Indian ocean depths?

I was born bare, so were you. How could we, who were born empty-handed claim this earth - plane thereafter ? Aren’t these boundaries, frontiers mere fantasies artificially nurtured by us ?

I have a dream to encounter to witness the world, the entire plane, live as one family in one undivided global territory living in harmony, free of internecine genocides and warfare over frivolous territories, landlines, nationalities and religions.

 We have today gathered here as youth. Look at the face standing next to you. He is black and he is white, thus belonging to various nationalities.

 Maybe, we follow different religions. Though we differ we live together. We should build an  confraternity. We youth have a war to wage. That is the dream I have. "
